Here’s a little “Guide” and “Who to Use” On DIY RECORD PRESSING, for starting your own label, or if you need tips. We’ve done 50 records at this point. For us, this way works the best, and these are some of the best companies going. Read the bottom for more info too.

HOW/WHO TO USE TO PUT YOUR RECORDS- Step 1. RECORDING/AUDIO/MASTERING- Get your audio recording mastered by DAN MAMMOTH SOUND MASTERING- www.mammothsoundmastering.com, Or Send it straight to LUCKYLACQUERS.COM

HOW/WHO TO USE TO PUT OUT RECORDS- Step 2. LACQUERS- Get your lacquers made by LUCKY LACQUERS, He’s great at it no matter what kind of music, and you can get a cool reference lacquer to be safer with the audio before getting tests www.luckylacquers.com

HOW/WHO TO USE TO PUT OUT RECORDS- Step 3. PRESSING/PRODUCTION-Get it Pressed, We Use WWW.SAMOMEDIA.COM, Best customer service out there, you can’t find a friendlier, more helpful team. Paul@Samomedia.com is our rep, and i know Gord Deranged is doing sales for them now too! These guys do complete package deals too, where you get EVERYTHING done, shrinkwrapped or plastic sleeved and sent to your door, and cds too i believe.

HOW/WHO TO USE TO PUT OUT RECORDS- Step 4. COVERS/JACKETS/SLEEVES- Use www.iloveimprint.com, best in the business really! Never EVER had a problem and they have a very friendly staff too!

HOW/WHO TO USE TO PUT OUT RECORDS- Step 5. STUFFING/COMPLETION- Get your friends together and give them a free record and a drink, and Stuff the night away! You can get plastic sleeves practically anywhere (Something Special is a great place but they dont have a site), Imprint, Bagsunltd, Havoc Records, Samo, anywhere…. THEN YOU’RE DONE and just need to have good luck with SELLING THEM!!!
