Also, we’ve got new projects in the works after those records. We’ve got CROSS RAGE- Demo 7″  (Great Canadian HC w/members of Born Bad and Under Pressure, think POISON IDEA, STATE, and THE FIX), and then MENTAL RESCUE- debut 7″ (More great Canadian HC like L’arm and GBH’s fucked up baby, dudes from INEPSY and GERM ATTAK) and even AFTER THOSE we’ve got FY FAN’s new 7″ (Swedish HC Nightmare) and NIGHT BIRDS are recording a new 7″ for us soon as well! We’re about to be ON FIRE!

We just got married, went on our honeymoon and are now back at home. We will be backed up/busy for a bit but here’s a heads up for those who want to know!

We had hoped to have the CHRONIC SICK and ACID REFLUX new records to be out when we got back, but of course they aren’t. It should be by the end of the month. Everything is going good with those now, and we’re going as fast as we possibly can, so bare with us. All are well worth the wait!

Our May Sale (That went up to today) is now over. Thanks for participating and the support definetly helped us, and we got a good amount to donate to vinyl for vernon. Definetly worth doing!

Hey there everyone. I know it’s been a while since we’ve updated y’all and we still don’t have new records out! Wussup wit dat right? Well here’s what’s up to keep you in the loop.

As for ACID REFLUX- “Moves” EP, we had problems with the test and they were more complicated than expected but we’re getting the kinks worked out of that and we should be running along smooth and have it out within a month or so. It’ll be worth the wait for sure.

As for CHRONIC SICK- “Cutest Band In Hardcore” 12″ and “S/t” 7″ Reissues we thought we were ready to roll about a month ago, but we thought wrong and we had to get more restoration/clean up done to the masters, and that’s done now so we can expect the release of those and the ACID REFLUX around the same time. You KNOW these are worth the wait.

After those are out, on to the next releases. The CROSS RAGE 7″ and MENTAL RESCUE 7″, Both rip and we’ll update you on those soon.

We’d like to thank all of our customers who’ve been patient with us (VINYL CONFLICT RECORD STORE/MAILORDER) our turnaround time hasn’t been the best lately, though still under 3 weeks or so tops anyone had to wait ain’t THAT bad, right? Some places are WAY worse. But anyhow, we’re way back on top of it all now, so order away!

We’re doing a BIG SALE on NO WAY RELEASES until the end of MAY, and some of the proceeds will go to help VINYL FOR VERNON- Via united record pressing. Basically We’re selling the records a little above cost, and donating the profit to VINYL FOR VERNON. A dude whos worked at UNITED forever and lost his home and belongings to the Massacre of Flooding Nashville just recieved. So if there’s stuff you haven’t picked up and feel like helping us and helping VERNON recover, do it up. Check the NO WAY RELEASES Section in the STORE Section.

NO WAY FEST 4:

NO WAY FEST 4 is going to be NOV.12th and 13th. Most likely at ALLEYKATZ Again. Their may be a little pre show thing the 11th too. So far some of the bands that are semi-confirmed: MOB 47, CHRONIC SICK, MUCH WORSE, RAW NERVE, MANIPULATION, LADIES, Maybe some of the usual suspects we’ll see….More details to come and please don’t write us to ask if you’re band can play, we pick the bands, not you.

A lot has been going on with us (AS USUAL) but we figured we’d better update this for those who care!

The ACID REFLUX and CHRONIC SICK are getting worked on as we type this, but they still wont be out for another month or so, had some technical issues with both so we’ve worked out the kinks and got the ball rolling recently….the wheels are turning…….

Also, for those wondering, WE ARE DOING A NO WAY FEST this year. NO WAY FEST 4 will be in the FALL, sometime in OCTOBER i guess. Lauren and i are getting married in june when it usually happens, so that’s why we’re doing it later this year….it will be sick though. Trust us.

A little heads up- We’re working on the ACID REFLUX- Moves 7″, CHRONIC SICK- Cutest Band in Hardcore 12″ and S/t 7″, we’re making some progress for sure, but i wouldn’t expect these records til mid february at the rate things are moving.

Also, we’re still trying to get our inventory more up to date in the VINYL CONFLICT webstore, but it’s a hard process, let us tell you. We’re doing our best though and getting stuff in there as steady as we can…Keep placing the orders though,  it’s definetly a big help and we appreciate the support.

Sorry for the lack of updates. We’re super busy as usual running the store, doing mailorder, being in too many bands and trying to release new records all at the same time! Either way, we’re still on our feet and we plan on kicking ass in 2010!

Let’s hope everyone had a good year, it’s definetly been a good year for us and for hardcore punk in general. 2010 should bring some goodies as well!

NITAD-Nu Borjar Minnena Komma Tillbaka EP

Brand new 7″ From Sweden’s NITAD. On this platter they have 4 great tracks of their awesome brand of Swedish Meets US Hardcore punk. I really think this is definetly their best stuff to date. Best songwriting, best recording, best art, just all around perfect. The songs are catchy but just so powerful and in your face, it’s ridiculous. Incredible bass lines, Incredible guitar leads, pummeling drums and furious but well sung vocals all round this record out very well. This isn’t rehash hardcore punk, that’s why it’s so hard to describe and their so underestimated, but do yourself a favor and pick it up, NITAD RULES!   100 ON WHITE VINYL, ONE PER CUSTOMER

SOCIAL CIRCKLE- “City Shock” LP

The moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived, yep- A SOCIAL CIRCKLE LP! Finally, more than just a few songs for our enjoyment. If you’ve heard their previous 7″es and comp tracks, then you know they are an all around solid hardcore punk band. I think it’s safe to say they’ve outdone themselves here. You’ll have to be the judge of that. As for the tunes present here, they’ve combined melody with speed on all the right levels. You can hear late 70’s punk rock from all around the globe as well as intense early 80’s HC in their sound. It’s another winner from SOCIAL CIRCKLE, and you won’t be let down.   100 ON CLEAR VINYL, LIMIT ONE PER CUSTOMER
